Reservoirs are a critical part of our community’s water system, ensuring safe, reliable water storage for daily use and during emergencies.
East Valley Water District (District) recently completed a reservoir rehabilitation project at Plant 56, a 0.5-million-gallon reservoir that serves over 500 residents within the District’s service area.

The five-month project was completed in June 2025 and included the application of a new internal coating and installation of an anti-corrosion system to help extend the reservoir’s operational life.
Projects like this are vital to preserving system reliability and supply redundancy, both of which are essential to delivering dependable service today and for years to come.
The District remains committed to investing in critical infrastructure to support the long-term resiliency of the water system.
