Water Quality Month: How the District is Safeguarding Every Drop

August is National Water Quality Month and a great time to reflect on the importance of clean water and the systems that keep it flowing. East Valley Water District (District) is celebrating the vital role water plays in our daily lives and the efforts in place to maintain water quality standards.

From source to tap, the District works tirelessly to deliver safe water by performing year-round sampling, rigorous testing, ongoing system maintenance, and prioritizing infrastructure investments. By adhering to strict regulations, the District prevents waterborne illnesses to ensure that clean, safe drinking water reaches every home and business.

While water treatment happens behind the scenes, its impact is front and center. State-certified District staff work to safeguard the safety of water provided to residents, guaranteeing that over 108,000 people have access to high-quality water.
